Goals:

  • The goal of the P.P.M.E. (M.I.P.P.) training is to convey a comprehensive method for amateur and professional athletes' follow-up in individual and team sports.

Successfully completing P.P.M.E. (M.I.P.P.) vocational training means you can:

  • Improve professional athletes’ performance.
  • Improve the performances of amateur and top level amateur athletes, from regional to world championships and Olympic Games.
  • Coach leisure sports enthusiasts.

The PPME (MIPP) training will allow you to improve your knowledge related to physical exercise, to find a solution to practical problems encountered in the everyday practice of physical coaches and trainers, to master High-tech assessment tools, to elaborate training sessions and plan them over the year in rational way. You will get some awareness of such issues as drugs, overtraining and sports ethics.

Job opportunities:

  • Physical coach in the sports concerned (temporary work, fixed-term or permanent contract) *.
  • Physical coach as an independent IFDIS franchisee.
  • Individualized coaching *.
  • Preparation to B.E.S.S. 1, B.P.J.E.P.S., B.E.S.S. 2, D.E. STAPS curriculum examinations.

* Need of a state diploma to provide paying services or work as a volunteer league instructor.

P.P.M.E. (M.I.P.P.) training duration:

  • On average 6 to 12 months, depending on your level of commitment and your professional responsibilities.

Recommended level of education and / or training:

  • Athlete with education ranging from 1 to 5 years' higher education in sports sciences and / or practical experience. Physical therapy degree, Sports medicine doctor.
  • Certificate for sport coaches (French BESS1) in any sport, and students preparing for a D.E. (equivalent 4 years' higher education).
  • Instructor in any sport (with government or federation certificates).
  • It is advisable to have good computing skills before starting this course.
